Cascades have waterfalls, a stream and a pond or two. Set into a terrarium or vivarium, they become a delightful recreation area for small, water-loving creatures. Placed in your home or office, they offer the relaxing touch of the beauty found in nature. These one-piece sculptures are similar to the Enchanting Cascades except they do not have pockets for plants. This makes them more adaptable for critter habitats and for any other place such as an atrium where they will be set into substrate in which plants can be grown directly. Many people prefer their apparent simplicity of design and low maintenance to the more elaborate sculptures. The large Cascade below
is one of my favorites. It would be equally suitable for a tabletop display
or as part of a habitat for small critters. Notice the miniature frog and
turtle enjoying the view. Every Cascade is truly unique in design and water flow as each is inspired by the colors and shapes of the rocks and crystals our artist has collected. The new Cascade below has just
been added to our Website. Below is a close-up of one of
the falls. This next Cascade
features a three-tiered effect with a long water race across the back down to
its final fall into the lower pool. An assortment of exotic Missouri rocks not
only lends color to the sculpture but shows the infinite variety provided by
nature. Below is a close-up of some of

Cascade taken in the lowering sun.
Below, a Custom Cascade featuring
an unusual red rock of special meaning to the owner and a fabulous crystallized
fountainhead. The afternoon sun brings out the swirls of the moving water. Here's another close-up view. This Cascade was made to
be placed in a large vivarium with lots of little frogs and lizards
running and leaping around. The next Cascade was made and sold long ago yet we
still show it as an example of a large, custom-built Cascade with an open, shallow
pond that would be suitable for many small creatures, especially if set into
substrate.
Cascades for tabletop use come with feet to hold them above the surface of the desk or table. Those set in substrate for various displays will not have feet attached. If you tell us how you plan to use your Cascade, it can be adapted accordingly. Each comes as a complete unit with water pump, tubing and caring instructions. If you want to use your own pump for an exterior filter system, we will deduct the cost of our pump.
