Introduction

Herein is a tad of information about our artist Margie Greene, her water sculptures, custom ordering, sizes and pricing.

The collages below highlight samples of our artist's work.  They are compiled from old, close-up photos taken of our Cascades, Crystal Creeks and Woodland Streams.

Our extensive and time-consuming research into having Margie Greene cloned has been completely futile.  We are still stuck with only one artist who insists she must occasionally eat and sleep.  We must, therefore, confess that many of the actual sculptures pictured on this Web site have already been sold or are on display.  We show them merely as samples of our artist's work.  Because our stock-on-hand is in short supply (even though we have chained Margie to her work table), we are presently taking custom orders on any item not in stock.  There is no extra cost involved, but there is a waiting period while your sculpture is being created.  It's well worth the wait!

Because every Organic Fantasy item is individually created by our artist, any can be shaped, stained or sized to your specifications.  We can incorporate your own rocks, fossils, seashells and other organic materials into your sculpture if you prefer, and consider not only your special requirements in space and dimensions but the type of habitat best suited to your critters' or your particular needs.

We placed the approximate sizes and prices underneath our pictures.  If you would like a larger or smaller version than shown, and if it is possible or practical to make that sculpture larger or smaller, the price will shift accordingly.  Because of kiln size, individual pieces, such as one section of a multi-piece Crystal Creek, are limited to 24 inches in diameter.

Many of our sculptures are impossible to categorize as to "Home and Office" or "Reptile and Amphibian" use so we have placed them under their own pages.  Our Woodland Streams, Cascades, Mini Crystal Creeks and Crystal Creeks, for example, have been used as table-top displays in homes, offices and business reception areas. They have also been set into atriums and other indoor gardens; and into terrariums, vivariums and other various wildlife displays.

The plants shown in the photos are not included with your sculpture. We can, in some cases, ship plants with your order at an addition cost, but this is not recommended. Because Organic Fantasies are made from natural clay which is somewhat porous, special care must be taken with any Organic Fantasy sculpture with "plant pockets" in choosing the correct medium in which to grow your plants. Fertilizer in any form cannot be used. It eats into the clay earthenware causing it to eventually disintegrate. Regular potting soil works quite well and to be extra cautious, the plant pockets can be lined with heavy plastic such as from a good quality shopping or trash bag. Many people prefer using silk plants instead of live ones, especially in their table-top sculptures for use in the home or office. They require little care and are perfect for low-light conditions.

Organic Fantasies wants to assist you in creating healthy, natural environments for you or your pets. Whether you're into the relaxation of meditation, the peacefulness of communing with nature, the soothing sounds of trickling water, or watching your favorite critters go about their everyday lives or stalk their prey, we can create for you the...
