Organic Fantasies is a small, one-artist studio.  Because real rocks, crystals and fossils are used to make our sculptures, it would be impossible to mass produce an Organic Fantasy. Each sculpture, no matter how small or large, is made by hand with great love, care and attention to detail.  Every item is a unique creation that our artist, Margie Greene, hopes will find an appreciative home where it can bring joy or a smile or warm-puppy pleasure to its inhabitants.

Because of the nature of our products we have found an order form impractical.  If you are interested in any Organic Fantasy sculpture similar to those pictured here; if you need more information about any of our sculptures; or if you like Margie's artwork and would like her to create that special waterfall or creek or whatever just for you or your critters, all you need to do is either call Margie and talk to her directly at 573-783-5414, or send an E-mail to OrganicFan@aol.com or MargieKGreene@aol.com.

If you are E-mailing an inquiry about a suitable sculpture for a creature habitat, it would be helpful if you could tell us the species and size of your creatures and how big a terrarium or vivarium you'll be using.  If we have a sculpture you want already in stock, we can ship it right away.  If your sculpture has to be created, it might take anywhere from three weeks to a couple of months, depending on how large it is or how complicated its structuring might be.

A creek, for example, must be designed, the rocks chosen, the clay molded to the rocks, dried completely (this takes the longest), fired in the kiln, stained, fired a second time, then refitted to the rocks which, along with the valves and tubing, are cemented into the sculpture with special non-toxic waterproof glue. As a last step, water is added to the sculpture, the pump is activated, and a final test and inspection is performed.

Plants can sometimes be shipped with your sculptures for an additional charge but we do not recommend this unless you live nearby and we can deliver it ourselves.  Many busy people prefer silk plants as an alternative to live ones, especially in low-light conditions.

Shipping Information

We will no longer calculate shipping and handling charges based on the amount of your order. We have found a more equitable way to work this out. The carriers keep raising their rates and we've been checking out ways to keep your cost as low as possible. 

Since Margie does not request payment from you until your Organic Fantasy is created and safely out of the kiln, the weight of your sculpture will be known before you send your payment; therefore, packing and shipping costs can be figured in more exactly. All we'll need is your zip code. You won't have to pay some "average" amount as before--only what it costs to ship your special order.   

Multi-piece sculptures will require more packing material to keep them safe which adds slightly to the weight. Because each Organic Fantasy sculpture is of a unique shape or size, it is impossible to pre-design some styrofoam packing material for each type of item as the mass-producing manufacturers do.  Margie has to make her own for each piece.

If your packaged sculpture weighs less than 5 pounds, it can be shipped anywhere in The United States, including Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico for the same price. Heavier packages cost more the farther they go from Fredericktown, Missouri. It might cost, for example two to three times as much to ship to California as it does to ship to St. Louis, Missouri, our nearest large city.

We know it's important for you have some idea of the shipping charges before you order.  Therefore, we will be adding approximate shipping weights as we get them, along with the sizes and prices, under the pictures of our sculptures. If you e-mail us, tell us what type of sculpture you would like and give us your zip code, we can give you an approximate shipping cost beforehand. If you should want a large, custom sculpture, Margie can only make an educated guess how much it might weigh after it's created.
