Table-top gardens with bubbling springs include our original Organic Fantasy and Jardinière's Delight shown below. All are set on rock, shell or sculptured feet to hold them above the surface of a table or desk. Organic Fantasy The sculptures shown here, each made with "feet" of especially interesting Missouri rocks, were what Margie first created. She named them "Organic Fantasies." In each, a spring gently bubbles from within a special rock into a small pond. A garden pocket or so provides a natural backdrop that beautifully sets off the bubbling spring and can be planted with your choice of greenery or with silks. First, an Organic Fantasy right out
of the kiln but with rocks attached and the plant pocket filled with soil: Here's another Organic Fantasy
just out of the kiln, unplanted but with its rocks in place and water added so you can see its structure more
clearly. Jardinière's Delight A Jardinière's Delight features a spring bubbling from a large, exceptionally fascinating rock set into a matrix of natural clay with one or two garden areas and a pond of gently moving water; a terrific setting for miniature tropicals or indoor bonsai. A Jardinière's Delight has sculptured feet to hold it above the surface of a table instead of rocks, as with an Organic Fantasy. Below are two views of a newly created Jardinière's Delight planted with silks. Top front view Top side view The first picture below shows a Jardinière's Delight planted several years ago and kept in Margie's home. The next two pictures were recently taken of the same Jardinière with the very same ficus, now over three feet tall. The close-up partially shows the beauty of the featured rock and how the roots of the ficus have become interwoven deliciously into the rocks that support it.
